Place is a little run down and one of a handful of remaining locations! I get happy feet making a trip here! Hush puppies are always golden and never burned!! Fish taco as are okay, they need an additional citrus or lemony ingredients. The fish is spectacular!! Always golden, and crispy batter with mouth water perfect fish inside and never greasy. It’s literally picture perfect. Side of corn should be corn on the Cobb and not the watery corn in a container. Coleslaw wasn’t a hit either, It looked and tasted watered down. May have been an off day for the sides. But definitely not for the fish and hush puppies and the golden tasty fries!!!

I always love me some Long John Silvers every since I first ate some in the 70s. Too bad there not as many locations like back then. I have to travel over 25 miles to get me some Long John Silvers. Love the fish. The fresh crispyness always right on. I enjoy eating Long John Silvers. It's really for fish lovers! This one is located in Oak Park, Illinois on Harlem Avenue. I'm in the City of Chicago's Southside.

Had excellent white fish fried that was crispy and delicious. This is not health food but you can't beat the taste. The drive-thru was quick and efficient and their location off of Harlem is easy to find. If you want to get away from the usual fast food hamburgers give long-john a try

This is the last location in Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Food is always good. I hope it never goes away!

Had to come here to get some fish and chips. Had some cod at Culver's but it was tasteless and left the palate wanting. Long John Silvers hit the spot with flavorful (buy very greasy) fish and chips. Always a pleasure and make sure to hit that bell for the folks here!
